How to get involved!

Special Olympics provides many different ways to get involved in their organization. One way is by donation. You could also be a coach or trainer for a team or individual. There are volunteer opportunities that could be anywhere from one day to a whole year.

An example of a year round job would be a special events coordinator. If you do not have that much time to commit you could join the group for a day as a scorekeeper or concession worker. There are also options if you want to be a little more involved than one day, but not having it take over your busy life. The organization needs local volunteers to register the athletes, manage websites, plan events, take pictures, and much more to spread the word about Special Olympics.
